Spore Water Dying Syringe

Can anyone tell me why some of my syringes are being dyed a yellowish color? Is it anything to worry about and if so why?

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Is it a spore syringe you made yourself? If not, it could be a liquid culture. Can you see mycellium floating around in the syringe?

They haven't been in use for a while (few months) but when they did have a solution inside, they were full for a long time. I would guess they had spore water inside for 7-8 months. I used them to make some jars and didn''t have any problems.
I was sterilizing them a couple days ago to use again and I noticed that boiling water wasn't removing the stains! I then started scrubbing and still can't get them to come off. And yes, I did make the syringes myself.

EDIT: Forgot to add that they were stored in a dark enclosure at room temp.

You didn't stick them in boiling water did you? If you did, the spores are dead, and the yellowing is of no worry, the syringes are useless.

No, no. They haven't had any solution in them for a few months, sorry I wasn't too clear on that. They were empty and I was sterilizing to reuse.

I'm pretty sure if you sterilize them, you should be fine. No clue as to where the coloration came from
