Spore prints

Is it possible to make a spore print from a "Hen Of The Woods" mushroom? They are my favorite edible and I would love to be able to harvest them from my home as opposed to hunting them.

hardwaters: tissue culture is the standard method of cultivating edibles and is more reliable than culture from spores. multispore culture is possible if you so choose.

peteb: this information can be found in the Mushroom cultivation FAQ here at this site or in many other places with a google search.

If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
