Baseball

Any MLB fans on the forums? If so, this is the thread to discuss it in.
My favorite teams are 1. Atlanta Braves, 2. LA Angels, 3. Milwaukee Brewers.

Whats up with the White Sox owning everyone?

The wite sox are a freak of nature right now. I look at thier lineup and I just don't get it. even if they go 500 from here out they'll finish with over 90 wins. I don't get it, but they'll fuck it up in the playoffs. I think the twins might make some noise this year in the post season. I love how the yankees are falling apart, but I'd be suprised if they did'nt get thier shit together. Redzox arent doing to hot either, no way they're gonna repeat. Dave Wells is a slouch these days. Clemens is tearing it up ulmost more than ever before, but his team is crap.

I think the WS Is gonna be a fight between the Twins and the Cardinals, with the Cardinals takeing it.

I dig the Seattle Mariners, but they have major pitching problems, and I live in KC, so I go to alot of Royals games, I get free tickets, but they are painfull to watch. I love baseball, Really any team I like, but I'm always pullin' for Seattle.

Big Yankee fan here. Honestly, I have not been to concerned with the current state of the team. Right now they are heating up and everything is clicking. Going for 4 in a row tonight. Starting pitching is finally looking like its beginning to come around, Randy Johnson pitched a hell of a game last night off of an injury. Hopefully the rookie Chien-Ming Wang can continue the hot streak tonight.

Don't really follow baseball as much as I used too.

Still a Padres fan though

I can't believe Atlanta lost too the Rockies. It's baseball though and not every team is gonna win all 162 games.

yeah, the yankees will pull out of it, I don't think they'll make it to the world series though. A-Rod been on a tear and Randy Johnson is always good. If Kevin Brown Starts to pitch well consistantly, then they're the team to beat, but unless that happens, which I don't think is likely, I don't see thier starting rotation being good enough to make a push all the way through the playoffs. Mussina might be the best pitcher in the AL besides Santana, but again, consistancy is the issue.

I'm a huge hockey fan but with the lockout and all I've been watching quite a bit of baseball lately.

I was a yankees fan before it was fashionable to be so haha... but I do like the Cards and of course the home team Mariners

Indians fan first

Brewers fan second...a friend had luxury box seats (with free booze of course) for tonights game but he couldnt get a hold of me in time. dam i really need a cell phone.

Brewers are a bit of a surprise, and the indians have been a let down so far.

cubs fan here - even though our team is not doing so well. I think if they work out the bullpen situation and get a few key players off the DL, we definitely have a shot for the wild card - if not the division.

the white sox are dominating everyone though - playoffs are a safe bet, but I would not count out the twins just yet.

...this season is still just starting up.

are the cubs ever doing well?
Um, no.

The sox are an easy favorite to take the division, but the twins are the no brainer wild card team already. this early. And the twins have more post season fire power than the sox. Better pitching. Twins make the world series. Lose to the Cardinals.

Big White Sox fan here. Good to see them getting some wins. If they stay healthy the should run away with the division. Theier pitching staff is great. They need to shitcan Takatsu, but other than that they are solid with pitching.

considering this decade, the cubs have had winning seasons last two seasons and have been in the thick in the division race since 2001 (except for 2002). They are just as competitive as any other team in their division.

Go Yankees! Just 2 hours till they attempt to go 5 for 5, I'm so glad they're bleeding the suck out of themselves and starting to win some.
