Which species mushrooms grown in california. particuarlly in the higher climate. the wetter areas and the mossy, more green areas?
What are the more common mushrooms, that grow in the forrest area in higher climates. Not in lawn's,but possible. An list if they are active psilocybin/psilocy or psychoactive mushrooms.from the picts I have seen it looks alot like psilocybe pelliculosa looks like this almost idential with the white looking spot on top and same brownish color. Im doing a spore print and it apears to be black...is this good?

Your question is a violation of the rules for this forum.

4. Do NOT ask what mushrooms can be found growing in your state or immediate area
This information is easily found in the Mushroom Hunting FAQ and/or has been posted at least once elsewhere on the net.

From your question I can tell you have much reading to do.

OK, you added content so I won't lock it. let me once again point you to the rules thread.

It is critical that you describe mushrooms fully and accurately in order to get a proper identification.

A good picture of the mushrooms is invaluable.

Along with the pictures (if possible), please include the following:

a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)
b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
c. Measurements of cap and stem.
d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
f. Spore print color (very important!)
g. Color that the mushroom bruises
h. Scent of mushroom

im gonna cut the crap for you, but do your research. You wont find shit in cali this time of year that is active.
Look for morels right now, probably the the most popular mushroom ever. And let us know where you are from, general area. If you are not on the coast from san francisco northward then you will probably never find any active mushrooms
