 Mininum time between trips

ok so last friday did about a 1.3 grams and got a little trip and was wondering would if i could trip again this upcoming sat. Whats the mininum time i should take off between trips? It will be a break of 8 days. is that enuff time, im also taking 2.6 grams this time. Advice will help thanks guys

i would wait at least 8 days but at most 7 months

5 days is usually good enough...as long as its not a consistant 5 day cycle of doing it, then youll be fine.

Yea, short break once is fine, but usually its more rewarding to wait few weeks or few months in between. In other words, you shouldnt have tollerance issues with 8 days of waiting, you should be fine and all, but dont make a habit out of it and dont dose again next week and so on.

you may be able to increase the trip-metabolite turnover rate by tweaking-up your MAO levels (NOT inhibiting them!) for a few days post trip...
maybe some niacinamide, some SAMe, extra vit C & minerals, maybe some NADH, some amino acids like TRP & PHE, B-vitamins, some anti-oxodants like lipoic acid & vit E & selenium, some DMAE (& choline & lecithin), maybe even some nootropics...
yaddayadda...
occasionally tripping a couple-three weekends in a row is OK, but if you try to keep it up for a month or two (or longer), the trips are more ummmm "mundane"...
(perhaps due in part to actual physiological tolerance issues, but also perhaps insufficient time to "digest" the previous experience(s), & even a decreasing sense of "specialness" (or for some folks, "sacredness") of the psychedelic experience...
(generally speaking... ymmv...)

Minimum time, about three days, but your second trip will be much weaker. I typically recommend at least two weeks if not a month or two in order to get the most out of the effects.

The simple fact is that nobody knows for sure. There is apparently some kind of physiological tolerance, but the exact nature has not been quantified in any scientific way--or if it has, the information is lost somewhere. Anecdotal reports given here are unrealiable--note, by way of comparison, that after several years and dozens or hundreds of posts, there is still no consensus on whether Vitamin C enhances or reduces trip effects--and that's a much simpler question than that of negative tolerance.
The only way a person could know how they're going to react is by experience. Everybody is different. And for that matter, every mushroom is, too. And each time you use them, your body is different.
I think what often happens is that "batch variation" gets confounded with the issue of negative tolerance. In other words, say week 1 someone gets strong mushrooms and has a strong trip. Then a week later they use mushrooms from a weaker batch and have a mild trip. The natural tendency is to attribute it to negative tolerance. On the other hand, if they have a stronger trip the second time, then they assume the batch was stronger.
I believe that in such matters "intuition" counts for a lot. After all, we have over 1 billion years' of evolution helping us use taste and intuition to judge what to eat and when. If the mushrooms appeal to you, that could be a sign that your reverse tolerance has worn off. If they smell or taste bad, or if you get a bad taste in your mouth even thinking about them, maybe it hasn't been long enough.
In any case given your history and last amount, it seems unlikely that you'd experience reverse tolerance this time after 8 days.
