    #4152597 - 05/09/05 08:50 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

Ive listened to my new will smith tape about 6 times now, so i needed a change. I turned on the the radio and did some channel surfing. Coming up next, greatfull dead. So just to see wtf this was all about i listened to it.

some old guy was talking about driving a train on cocaine.

nothing wrong with that i guess, i think i liked it,

can i get some smileys in this bitch.

Hmmmm, Casey Jones, from Workingman's Dead - not a bad introduction to the Dead.

Yup it was the Grateful Dead, from the Album Workingman's Dead - sorry didn't I make that clear?

I just have no idea who casey jones is, or what workingmans dead is.

I thought you was saying casey jones is the lead singer of a band called workingmans dead, and trying to tell me i fucked up.

Casey Jones is a classic Dead song. It's from an early album of theirs called Workingman's Dead. I love hearing that song live. It chugs along like a train and then it's like a train wreck at the end.

Its an alright dead song, but there are much better off that album. Dire Wolf and Masons children for example.

higher doses, bring higher appreciation for grateful dead music. 8 years ago i was sickened by the music, now i can connect to it in a different way. I guess it's all about personal preference...
