Dark green is usually a good thing. I worry when my leaves start to turn yellow, which is when I either fertilize with Earth Juice or repot.
Maybe your leaves are turning black or brown? Post a pic, and we'll go from there.

Dark grean is usually a good indication of proper nutrients. It is when they start to turn a lighter yellow green is when you worry.

Hum they like fast draining soil, so the soil is best like 50% coca coir or perlite and 50% soil. Water like every 5 days or so. They love a ultrasonic humidifer on a timer for about 2 hours total each day thou. If you don't have a humidifier on a timer or whatever just water every 3 days. But they really love that mist.

well when I first got the plant and 2 weeks after it was a lgihter green. Then the fucking fungus gnats came. So I got a bag and made a humidity tent with the yellow strip inside. after about 2 weeks of this the plant turned a dark green and the leaves started to wilt. Once school is done Im going to buy a little greenhouse for it...if its alright.
