 cant laugh anymore

hey guys, i have a serious problem that ive been ignoring for quite a while. ive been depressed for a few years now, tried SSRI's, all types of recreational drugs and so on. at first everything was fun and i had tons of laughs, but for the last couple of years i dont have fun AT ALL anymore.
cant laugh ever, the funniest movie or show could be on and my friends are there laughing they're asses off, but i just sit there, emotionless. this is very scary for me, ive felt like im a ruined person right around the time i took SSRI's for the first time. i feel really hopeless when i try everything i can to be my old self, and it never works...help me.

OK you asked, You need to leave all your friends and family, your town and job. All your security must be left behind. Go to a strange town far away from all that you knew. Dump all of your meds. No other drugs for awhile either, that comes later. Just the act of trying to survive in a new place will kick you out of your mental freeze. Once you find some emotional energy you might want to try some psychedelics, but only if you are no longer depressed but you want to know more about why you are around this planet.

Try having someone tickle you. It seems to work all the time for me.

maybe you saw the funniest thing ever (south park episode  ) and you can't think anything is funnier. jk...but seriously, watch some good south park and report back.

Stop watching TV altogether. You won't be magically fixed by staring at a box.

i stopped watching tv for a few months, didnt work. ive also watched tons of south park with my friends, and NO laughs at all. i used to laugh my ass off however, when the show first came out...before i became VERY depressed.

Stop trying to laugh and start observing your emotions. When you start observing you will find your self unexpectedly laughing. Easier said then done.
