What problems could i run into while growing p. cubensis outdoors? How do i keep bugs away? Should i set up a square of plywood around the patch with a hole in the top so pins go up? Anymore advice for outdoor cult. would be nice thank u

Bugs are bugs so don't worry about em.  Mushrooms grow OUTDOORS.  99.9999999% of all mushrooms grow outside, if a bug lands on it, than O well.  Most animals won't eat mushrooms so don't worry about that either! :mushroom2:

i got this stuff called "bug and Snail" killer by ELIMINATOR from wal-mart. It's powder that you just sprinkle all around your beds, it kills snails, slugs, ants, rolley pollies, and a few others that bother your beds. It's safe for fruit and vegetable gardens, so it's perfect for mushrooms. It was like 5 bucks for a 2 lb can. Just sprinkle it around there every 2 weeks or so.

It says it's safe for use on vegetable gardens, hints it's safe for edible growing.

if you are worried about the bugs try some diatomaceious earth. works ok but you do have to keep applying it regularly. no chems here. just diatoms that have died and collected in large deposits.
