Let them fruit invitro and work out the dry weight comparison while you're at it

What is involved with the outdoor? Just bury in ground in a shady place? If i were to do cakes just cut it with a sterilized knife and do the same this as a BRF cake with dunk and roll?

How about spawning to straw or something else??? That'll make it take a little longer. OR.. you could use those jars for a Grain to Grain transfer and make an assload of new jars that grow QUICK!

I dont have room to spawn them and i dont need any more jars. My options are outdoor or i can put them in the terrarium as cakes or invitro.

How about keeping them in the jars, taping off the sides... and growing off the top (you might even be able to use a casing layer)? That way you don't need to worry about invitro picking.. they all grow off the top!

Id scrape half of each quart into a clean quart jar (from the ones you cased)..making 6 jars half filled...throw a casing layer on each and then you can just set them out on your dresser, you can throw a bag, cd, or the lid on top if you want to hold in moisture and just open them a few times a day but I always like to keep one jar sitting next to my bed on my nightstand and I dont bother to cover it with anything. Helps me to sleep I think

Just harvested the recent one (1/2 pint of poo, two tablespoons of grain, shook it up and cased after colonized then fruited just as I said above). This just sat open air, nothing covering the top, I didnt fan, didnt give it any extra light, didnt mist. 57 grams wet.

I wouldnt expect the same results, since your not using poo, however I've done it with grain as well with fine results.

Anyone looking to start bulk tubs/mono tubs/shotgun hybrids? Good tubs to use..
How I do grain (old still good tips)
Turn your closet into a fruiting chamber
Casing layer colonization and overlay
