Hey shroomers, im waiting on things to get warm here but anxious to start with my outdoor patches. Temps have been in the 50's/40 at night for weeks now here but should be high 60's on sunday. I need to know if this is warm enough for p. cubensis to successfully spawn outdoors? Im expecting to wait about 2 weeks for fruits after spawning anyways which should be time for things to warm up but can I spawn now? Yesterday I saw mushrooms growing in the general area im growing in, and it hailed ice twice that day

it might work but the yield will probably be weak.
wait it out, it will be warmer soon.

He remains this way for about three hours, making bizarre noises, pretending to be a new species that must learn to walk and talk and eat, etc. And he communicates with other life forms by way of the antennae on his head. Eventually we jam a tube from a waterbong into it's mouth and figure he's learned all he needs to know.

Tahoe ive been all over the forums and archives here and mycotopia. I know that 75-83 are the optimal ranges for different stages and I know that live mycellium is preserved frozen but I dont know the coldest temp that myc will spawn, colonize, and fruit at. If youve got a link to anything addressing this that I missed Id appreciate it.

Have you any links on mycellium being preserved frozen, I always heard it would die. Certain cubensis strains can take the cold better than others. I think the mexicans may be able to fruit at lower temps

Read where exactly? The stuff written is only about optimum parameters. Is it really necessary to act like this? Its a sensible question on a forum that is designed for just that.......Ridicul....arse
