When do you wake up for work?
    #4139363 - 05/05/05 09:42 PM (11 years, 9 months ago)

My hours have been changing around but they're finally set in stone. I work at 7am each morning sooo....

I need to wake up at 5am and walk to work (over an hour) so I can make it to work 20 min early. No buses go my way until later, and I don't have a car nor license so that sucks.

When do you suckas wake up for work?

At the moment I am getting up at around 5:30 to meet my buddy at 6:00 to start work. But as the summer progresses I will be starting work at 4am, so I will more than likely be getting up at around 3:30. It seems really early, but I like getting off before noon.

Getting off work early is the fucking best!

Today when I got out of work my eyelids damn near fell off. Why? Exhaustion! I'm not used to the sunlight dammit, and it feels great... err. What I mean is that I'm not used to such intense light, I've been home for what seems like an eternity now and it's still bright outside, there's still friends kickin', and I have a life!

I have work at 4 tomorrow, so I'll probably wake up at 12:30 or 1:00.

i set the alarm for around 3:45am, because i always end up hitting the snooze button a bunch of times. i usually get on the road to work around 420-430. i have to be to work at 5 and it's about a 15-20 minute drive. it really sucks...i don't plan on doing it for much longer..

I have to wake up for work at 4:00am everyday 7 days a week.... well I get one day a week off . Right now at work we are short like 2 people so I am working more hours then ever. But I always work the morning shift(5:30am -2:00pm) I live 20 mins away from my work and I also have to get up to get my daughter ready and take her to daycare. I leave my house by like 4:45 am....

I like it though because I still have a lot of day left once I get off of work.. I ca still go home take a nap and do something ..

I do wacky shiftwork, so when I wake up usually varies.. Lately I've been starting work around 5-7pm and getting home around 7am; though when I started I was getting up at 12:30am and going to work at 1am.

A few days ago, however, I had a nice 21hr shift running from 5:30pm until about 3pm the next day because nobody was available to relieve me (and I was out on an island, so there were no ferries when I started shift anyway). What's even worse about that, is I had to sign an averaging agreement when I started work, so no OT for that sweet plum... I read the entire Silmarillion, front to back, that night.
