well i have successfully completed some pf jars and want to upgrade to something bigger and better. I dont really want to get a PC. What is a good choice? I was thinking maybe some horse poo since i only have to pastuerize it. I could just use pf cakes for spawn? NE other ideas?

If you don't want to buy a PC, then that's a great route for you. PF cakes will do great spawned to manure. Go for it :thumbup:

ehhh i dont really want to spend the money and i dont have the extra space to deal with it. When i move in a couple months i will probably get one... buts its not a priority at the moment

That's cool. Cakes work great as spawn. I used them the first time. As long as you're only looking to do small time bulk, they should suffice. When you need a lot of spawn though, WBS is the way to go. Cakes are only 1/2 pint and take twice as long to colonize. Can't really do cake to cake transfers like you can grain. But, you plan to buy one in the future so until then, cakes work great, just a little harder and time consuming to produce enough.
