 world shroom eatin record

I have a friend who was living on a farm back in the day and some guy visited the farm and said he was the world record holder for shroom eatin. My friend said no way he could eat him under the table any day of the week. So they got a big bag of shrooms and started eating. The other guy stopped at 112 grams my friend went untill 128 grams. Then tripped really really really hard for three days.
So we were wondering if that was a world record or if any body any where ever ate more then that at once?
(I have another friend who ate a pound once... but they were freash and still 92% water so that works out to less, but I'm talkin about dried ones of average or better potantecy)

tripping 3 days from mush...yeah right. were they dry shrooms your friend ate 128 grams of? cause that's 4 and 1/2 ounces.
also, contests to see who can eat the most shrooms sound juvenile to me. it doesn't sound like anyone involved has any respect for mushrooms and the experience.

what a waste.
i personally dont believe its possible to eat 128 grams of mushrooms, cubensis or shitake.

So who says he's a world record holder exactly? Guinness World Records? I doubt it.
Show me the article that says he's eaten the most.
I doubt such a record even exists. I thought Guinness didn't put stupid dangerous acts in their World Records anymore.

sounds lame to me...that is no real record and the people that would hold a record like that in high regard have no respect for the powers they were messin with. soulds like they were just redneck drug users to me

your friend is lying. but that might not be the record. some guy here made a tea extract with 420 grams (dry or wet i dont know) he finished 3/4 of it and tripped hard for a few hours but not days. if i remember right the title of that post was 420 grams in the pot, posted in trip tips or general Q's. and as empty wisdom said they would be tripping before they finished the mush.
