In order to achieve your ambition your goals must be clear cut and known. Mine is to continue to pursue my passion for information systems and make a comfortable living doing what I like, while having the money to enjoy material goods and travel. My spiritual goals are to die fulfilled in my life.

My ambition is to experience my life fully awake, whatever happens.

Life's treasure may simply be life itself. Existance as we know it is most certainly a treasure of chaos and possibilities beyond our wildest dreams. In so far as motivating factors that may keep me in a pleasant mindstate and reaching toward any goals I may set forth for myself; I would suggest that the realm of infinite possibility is my primary motivating factor. The fact that I could wake up tomorrow, or perhaps even in the next minute, and complete madness could ensue to forever change the world as I know it; keeps me on a path of knowledge and self-fullfillment in order to learn about some of these possibilities and become more informed, as to provide myself with multiple points of reference between thoughts and processes that I may undertake or experience on any given day.

Of course I have materalistic desires as well, for I have been brought up in an environment that has placed significance on many material items... and while some of my motivation may be on account of want and perceived need, I still feel that these do not entirely comprise the collective force that keeps me going. It is, simply, that it is. The human experience and the experience of the unknown known. The experience of creation, and using my own mind and ability to manifest something of my choosing into the conventional reality. On the path towards such goals of creating, excitment continues to builds for me.. and when I create, it can indeed be a neverending process, as when I reach one goal, a grander goal may present itself to me, thus leading to a neverending incline of excitment and personal reward until the day may come that it is time for my consciousness to check out.

From the techical side of life:
to feel more or less secure in life (have a stable job)

from psychological/spiritual side of life:
-to not be pressured, and to have freedom
-to have a stable emotional platform from which I can enjoy life, nature, hobbies etx.
-just to be left alone to enjoy myself as I know best (not be alone, just be left alone by those who pressure with their stupid standards)

what is life's treasure that you seek?

what has motivated you thus far in life and what will it be that motivates you further?

The secrets :smirk:.

Their are no secrets... don't tell anyone, they'll think it's ridiculous.

A secret is merely that which isn't yet found.

An error..

let's apply logic:

1. All sicret are that which hasn't yet been found and vice versa
2. Things that haven't been found do exist
-----
Sicrets do exist

3. That was supposed to be a secret.

One less secret to re-find.

Secrets do exist, but so do their answers.

What has motivated me thus far is a thirst for knowledge, a drive which I have been unable to satiate or lessen in any way. The more I know the more I want to know, and this has been motivation enough for me thus far.

My goals for the future are constantly changing, and always grand. I prefer to live in the moment, for the most part, and simply react to the world around me.

That being said, there arew a few things I would like to see before I leave this life:

-truly sustainable human development
-the successful landing of humans on Mars
-the creation of Artificial Intelligence
-the spread of Life itself to other worlds

These are not so much personal goals, as goals for Humanity that I would like to participate in.

You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

Self-expression through music, with an intent to spread a message of how I came to stop worrying and love the bomb.

Funny thing is, I've never seen Dr. Strangelove...

I've just always assumed from the title that it's about a guy who puts bombs inside people that will explode at a date and time that they will never know... or something along those lines...

I assumed it to be a metaphor for life... because we all have a bomb inside of us that will go off at a date and time that we will never know... it's called mortality. We should embrace what time we have, instead of worrying about inevitibilities.

That's what I meant by it in my post anyhow.

It's a great film, like any other Kubrick film

It's a sarcastic comedy about how total childish idiots run the world and how lucky we are that they didn't blow us all up during the cold war.

Great cinematography too: Gilbert Taylor BSC, who lensed 1977 Star Wars

So I guess I was way off? Haha. Oh well... I like the way I read into it anyway... it's a good example of how false statements can convey positive meaning, if only the reader were to seek them out... (Kind of like that Bible thing everyone's talking about.)

Shit, I'm high. Sorry if I'm not makin' sense!  :crazy2: :spliff:
