flat cake tek

can someone direct me to a link for the flat cake tek or wafer cake tek...
and please give me your input on how you feel about this tek.
ease, difficulties, amount of yeild, etc.
i am considering using this technique and would like some feedback and opinions of those who have used it or who have a foaf or some monkey next door using this tek.

I think you would do better just leaving it as a casing, because from what I understand the dude makes a casing, then deep scratches and removes the casing layer ( I dont see why), and the fruiting surface of his flat cake seems to only fruit from the sides or where there is moist verm on top, so your best bet is to just use a casing.

NOOOOO! the fruits do not just fruit from the side and i do not deep scratch and then take the casing layer off. the verm on top isn't a casing layer. it is just a moisture additive and a buffer layer. the tek is very simple and if you like growing off cakes it works well. and is much easier for beginners than casing. if you are trying to case and are having problems i would suggest using coco fiber.http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Forum2&Number=383015&Forum=All_Forums&Words=eatyualive&Match=Username&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=383015
