www.shroomery.org/~sporeworks has very good syringes for $1.50, and another type for $1 even. min order is 10 though. ive inly used the $1.50 ones and a homemade one i rigged up from a pharmacy oral syringe and a 1/16"o.d. hollow brass tube. id suggest getting some sporeworks syringes over my homemade one tho. Although they both worked, sporeworks syringes had much less electrical taping involved :)

My Ace Hardware carries them. If they're wondering why you want them, you 'use them to inject marinades into the many meats you cook.' I don't use them anymore. I prefer the 'glue applicator' that Ace sells. I have much less contamination with it.

Why not sterilize your old ones too? Unless you want to make lots and lots it's pretty practical. Just clean very well with 99% isopropanol, rinse in distilled water, fill the syringe with distilled water, stick in a sterilizing pouch, and when you PC some jars throw the pouch in with it when PC time is up let the water/syringe cool then use that water to suck up your spores in. SiMPLe YeT eFFeCTiVe ... So I'm told

When i lived in the Midwest they were always avail. at agriculture stores. Fleet Farm is one example but most large hardware stores in farming communities will have them. If you don't have very many cows or other livestock as neighbors- the hawks eye is generous enough to give away their slightly used syringes when you buy spores there. they also sell new ones for around a buck but it is easy to throw the used ones in with your jars when pc'ing them. living by cows is faster though. Also don't look like junkie when buying from a feed store conservative farmers will call the police.

abuot $17 bucks gets you both 80 syringes [11.88](12cc=1 syringe per case of jars) and 100 needles[5.28].
