It would work but it's really small. You should save up and get yourself a nice big one. You'll thank yourself later!

anything that will hold up at 15 psi without spitting water everywhere for one hour or more will work...hope this answered ure quesiton. i personally have a pressure canner whihc is bigger and better;)

The ones you are looking at are rinky dink & high priced for what you get. Shop around for an ALL AMERICAN, the bigger, the better.

Those some b's can get really expensive. I need to find a used one on craigslist or something.....I am using a 6-qt Mirro right now but wish I had a big'un.

Haha now it's $17.50, and I know it will sell for a lot higher. Plus shipping is $20. Better to find one locally.

Thank GOD I got my pressure cooker CHEAP! Got it at a garage sale... old lady.. 15$ out the door. Thing fits 24, 1/2 pts!!

I found one on walmart's web site that can fit 10 quart jars for $90. It works pretty good.

Yea...thats the problem with buying PC's off internet, the delivery charge is brutal! Even more so if you live in Canada. I also feel kinda sketchy about used PC's...so I'm gonna go and buy the one I posted..hopefully it will work out fine.

I've used that exact model. In fact, I can see it from here. It does work, and I've never had contam problems with it, but its tiny size does make everything pretty tedious. It also doesn't come with a rack, so you'll need to use a towel or something.
