Bronze Deposits

I've got a bunch of jars on the go at the moment and have noticed some bronze coloration in one of them. It has an almost metallic sheen to it, kinda like vermiculite does, but it appears to be a liquid. It's appeared in small deposits amongst my growing mycelium and I was wondering if anyone here knew what it might be. Could it possibly be waste from the mycelium or is it contamination? I am using Rye flour and verm as substrate.

do you think it could be a bit of rust pushed down in there with your needle when you innoculated? usually myc. waste is yellowish liquid... light yellow, not rust coloured... you may want to poke around the contam forum, or just take a wait and see approach instead...

Hi Osci! Nah, not rust... I use drinking glasses covered with foil. Neither is rusty, and nor are the needles... I'll report back on it though should it amount to anything, or if the jar is fine too.

Not VERY high. Initially (one or two days) it was 88F, but it's now 82F and has been for almost a week, and it's only in the last coupla days I've noticed it. It's almost kinda orange.
