felling good
    #4134342 - 05/04/05 09:19 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I was just thinking about that lyrics:

"felling good was good enough for me, good enough for me and my Bobby McGee"

And I don't find modesty in it, we all want just that, only to feel good, it's just that our methods of getting to feel good are different, some more difficult some straightforward.

Some need a good walk, and some need a yacht to feel good, but the end result is same, feeling good

Perhapse we should just find a harmless chemical that we could all inject when we want to feel good (without sideffects) and save the trouble of fighting for this or that.

--------------------
I descend upon your earth from the skies
I command your very souls you unbelievers
Bring before me what is mine

Take joy in knowing that mother nature provides us with this already.  Chemicals in our heads exist purely to create this feeling that you refer to.  Sure, a drug is one way to access these chemicals, but there are so very many more...

well, in _brave new world_ the PTB dispensed "soma" to allow the masses to relax safely...
but in _island_ the palanese "moksha medicine" was a mushroom-based psychedelic...

if injecting the zombie mind into your chapped little veins is your idea of happiness then happiness isnt worth the trouble.
