can anyone tell me where i can find mtehanol(for extracting psilocybin from mycelium)... is there another chemical that can be used instead of methanol?

hey man whats poppin first off I my self have been wondering the same thing methanol is the most simple for of alcohol this I know where to get I know not
on the other hand you can use cranberry sauce with a vitamin c tablet crushed up in it let it soak for a long time strain and drink and enjoy

ethanol or isopropanol will work (& are much less poisonous the MeOH), but some folks say that acetic acid (white vinegar) is yr best bet...

Methanol is wood alcohol. Check your local hardware stores.
I tried extracting psilocybin with ethanol, with no success. I'm not sure what went wrong, in theory it should work fine.
