I just consumed 5 grams of Amanita Muscaria's. If I want to go farther I will eat more later. Wish me luck. Trip report will follow.

way too little you will feel dull and probably fall asleep...
i recomend you take about 10 more grams immidiatly, you wont get ANY visuals off of 5.

the toxic element, the ibotenic acid is converted into the active compount, muscimol when exposed to heat...
as nearly every vendor (at least on the shroomery) sun dries there amanitas there should be no problems besides maybe a sore tummy.
either than that, even if they were unprepared or improperly dried, eating up to 30grams would still only make you vomit, and sometimes thats expected anyways from amanitas

never tried them but i do have some amanita plans for the summer.
in the woods around my summerhouse there are loads of amanitas growing.
its a secluded area and very nice setting for tripping. trees, silence, sea on one side, lake on the other. beautiful view, just great.
just tinkering with ideas about the preparation.
currently im thinking to first slice and sun dry them, then grate and use for infusion by boiling a few minutes and straining.
any advice?
also wondering if smoking some ganja is a good starter for the amanita trip?

i thought the proper way to do these was to ingest fresh specimens which makes for an uncomfortable "trip". The resulting urine, otoh, is to be ingested for the real 3-day trip.
I guess sun drying the mush is the pussy way out

i dunno. i've entertained the idea.
i would fast on bread and water for two weeks so my pee would be pretty damn clean. then i'd shake it with ice to cool it and slam it before it can get all foul.
there's a certain degree of set and setting you juxtapose onto the trip when it involves drinking your own piss.
what takes me aback is the indian ritual of women drinking the men's piss. drink your own piss but not other's. or something.

i think there are particular categories of food, like meat, that make your piss more disgusting and stinky.
I'd say that before you plan taking amanitas and drinking your pee, you'd have to wait until you see that your piss is the clearest as possible.

Heh, well you guys were right. 5grams didnt do anything cept make me feel wierd (spaced out) and sleepy. I was too tired to even want to eat anymore. Do you think I have a tolerance to them now? I really dont wanna wait a week to eat them again. I want to eat about 15grams tonight. Maybe more.
