Assistance, please...

Tek used: PF rice cake tek
Mushroom species: P. Cubensis

This is my first growing experience. My shrooms are fruiting.
I think they're doing quite well, some of the cakes have at least 8 growing from them. I would like to note that none of the caps have opened. And of course, there are the ABORTS. Plenty of those.

Here are my questions:

I've read that the fruiting cycle lasts 2 weeks. Should I assume that the ones showing the advanced growth are the only ones that will mature? Or can I expect some of the other, smaller primordia to develop?

Assuming none of those little primordia grow: I don't want the damn things to go to waste. Is drying them possible? Or does it shrink them to the point of laughability?

Is it possible for those super - healthy ones to abort?

I'm wanting to get a party going on for at least 12 people to have a decent trip, but I won't do it until I have enough. I would like to be able to dry the shrooms and grind them up, also. I would apreciate opinions on this, too, please.

I would like to close by thanking anyone who bothers to read this post and reply to it in advance.

Yes.

Yes, off course.

It does, but they are still as or even more potent by weight as the bigger shrooms.
