I had 3 cakes in my terrarium, (pf tek), and they just recently started pinning. one of them i noticed had a cotton ball looking ball of contam, possibly? on the bottom of the cake, with little tiny black spots in it. it looked exactly like an extremely light ball of cotton stuck to the cake, with black spots in it. i threw that cake out after hearing it was contam, but the cake that was next to hit has a few spots of mycelium that look erect, that have been there since i put it into fruiting, but underneath the mycelium it looks like there is a light blue/green something. is this normal, or is it contam? its only under the few spots that look erect on the cake (but they dont seem to be pins), they are just erect mycelium, with a blue/green tint under them. please help!

pics would help but when in doubt throw it out... i would watch it for a few days in a seperate fruiting chamber from your other cakes just to see what happens but if it is contam you could have serious health risks by exposing yourself to it.
