Hello, heres my plan.
1. Colonize a single jar of rye substrate with B+ to 100%.
2. Shake jar to loosen up, then pour into flat tray with 1cm of vermiculite on the bottom.
3. Case with moist mixture 50/50 soil/vermiculite 1-2cm thick.
4. Cover tray with aluminum foil and leave for 3-5 days and wait for recolonization
5. remove covering and move to terrarium.
WILL THIS WORK????
also, instead of having a complicated terrarium setup, is it possible for me to take a see-through rubbermaid container, put my colonized tray in there, put celephane wrap on the top of the container with pinholes in it and mist 2-3 times daily to keep the humidity up?
thanks in advance.

Sounds good.. but maybe you should use 1inch thick layer of verm on the bottom of casing. and 1 - 1 1/2 inch of verm/soil on top. And dont poke holes on the celephane but take it off and fan your terrarium with it.

Also I would use perlite before ever hand spraying again. I mean it costs about 3$ for a big ass bag and its foolproof, just fan a few times a day and put the lid back on.

I mean open the terarrium and fan out the co2 and get some new air in there, or get an airpump and make it automatic.

Yes, just buy a bag of perlite for a few bucks and line the bottom of your terrarium with this till its about 2 inches thick. Then pour water on it until there is around a half of an inch of standing water and pour a 'glug' of h202 into it. You wont need to mist it but you may need to give the casing a spray every once in a while with a mixture of h202/water 1:10.

Depending on the size of your box, you shouldn't need to spray or use perlite. The water coming off the casing should do the trick. You only spray the casing to keep it moist but not too moist. I find once a day is more than enough. Don't mist onto immature pins at all.
Once the pins have set, you lower the humidity to 85-92%.
