Thick quilt of mycelium, no Fruit ???
    #4126630 - 05/03/05 07:12 AM (11 years, 7 months ago)

I'm sorry if this has already been talked about, but I don't know what to call it or search for. A thick carpet of Mycelium, on both my Cubensis and Woodlovers, which are in the right temp for each species. The woodlovers are in the Basement which is all ways around 10 - 17. and the cubensis is 20 - 29. There has been a big change in weather for the last 3 days so I've the necessary changes... Do you think it's some thing to do with the casing soil on the cubensis? May be this is why it's hard to cultivate Woodlovers indoors ??
Should I throw them away, or give them more time, it's been a long time waiting compared to any other mushrooms I've grow.

I'm going to work now, but I'll check in tonight... Any help or ideas you can offer... get a digital wet kiss from me :crazy2: :flowers: :naughty:
Thanks!!!

I'll get a photo this afternoon. It seems to be happening to another casing now, is it infectious?

here are some photos... these have been like this for just over 2 weeks.

I'll get some photos of a casing which started to show signs 2 days ago, in a little while.

the one on the right is half overlayed, the other one has lumps and bumps of thick mycelium.

What do you think should I throw them away, or may put another thin layer of casing soil on top?
