too early in NY?

just wondering if any of you more experianced NY hunters out there if you think its too earlyto find mush. o, and i live in onondaga county, it has been raining off and on for the past two days, and i was thinking of looking tomarow because it may be warm out.

never be afraid to let your mind explore, just know what you are getting into b4 you jump in the deep end, and do your research on this site and erowid.com

I think it may still be too cold. Only recently have temps started to warm up. The ground may still be way too cold. Nothing yet in the Catskills or Poconos (PA).

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
