I'd like to know this too. The same thing happened to me with a print i made. I pulled the mushroom cap up off the paper and some white fuzz was between the cap and the print. I took all teh precautions for it to be sterile

depends, if you sterilized your jars correctly, kept your needle clean, then it most likely was your syringe. If the contams form around your inoc points then it was your syringe or you introduced them

lc's are better to make from petris so that you know that they are clean. Sometimes things wont blow up in an lc but once its gets onto grain its over and vise versa. Somethings wont take off on grain but will blow up on agar. When i purchase a syringe, i do 1 grain jar and 1 lc with it. if the grain jar is dirty then i use the lc for 1 jar and if that dirty then i know i have a bad syringe. So then i squirt the syringe onto a paper towel and use the spores to swipe a petri. There were only 3 people that i have never seen a dirty syringe from, 1.Me, 2.Sporeworks, 3. Pf

That fuzzy white shit surrounding your spores in the syringe is mycelium. The spores have started to germinate. It's a good thing!
In the future please don't post in white; it makes the text difficult for old fuckers like me to see.

just highlight their text with your mouse cursor or hit ctrl + a and the white text is easier to read.
