Aussie casing... Pf substrate spawned to Straw/verm. Cased w/ verm. and coir...
I patched once and it all looks beautiful... Now today There's myc. right where it's suppose to be (right beneath the surface)....There's one or two strands, Strands...of rhizomorphic growth heh...Should I fruit now or case the rhizo's (only two spots)...?
Tnkx in advance....and does anyone have any nice pics of rhizomorphic growth on their casings? I'm bored 8-)...

Hmmm...I donno, if I fruit now, then i'm afraid i'll get overlay in the spots where the rhizo's are....
If I patch then my pinset will suck...
Probably just gonna (like ya said ) let it colonize a bit more and then patch the whole thing and then fruit....hopefully it'll be more even then

anytime you are seeing more aggresive rhizo growth, patch it so the rest of the casing can catch up.
if you dont you will end up with aggresive pins in those spots before the rest of the casing is ready to go. Resulting in 1 or 2 massive shrooms and a few tiny ones. if you get the even pinning down your fruits will be more equal sized.
