cased these 5 days ago. i patched these bitches 2 days ago and the rizo grew through the patch...should i just let it go or patch it up again?

id say fruit that thing now! i personally wouldnt bother patching but others might tell u to patch then fruit it. but i personally would jus fruit ti. just my .02

they look really dry!~

the casing layer should be moist.

I'd moisten it patch it...and fruit it when the mycelium is starting to come up to the casing layer.

what kind of casing material did you use?

If it was mine I would keep patching. It looks a little dry also. Its not unusal to have to patch more than once. One thing you don't want is large areas of the myc colony exposed without any patching protection over it. You want the myc to have streched up so far from subbed that its bearly in the cracks and valleys of the top caseing layer, not up past it. I have noticed that the amount of caseing layer and amount of patching matter mainly on the depth of the subbed. Also co2 buildup when your trying to fruit can keep that myc growing and growing. I hit my caseings with
fresh air, light cycles, patching layer(s) then toss them into slightly cooler temps. Those four triggers are the some of factors.
