very intresting subject im not sure what you are looking for.
anything times 1 equals itself and thing times the opposite of 1 equals the opposite of itself so...
the opposite of x time the opposite of one equals x

Think less math, more life.
Quote:
the opposite of x time the opposite of one equals x
What is the opposite of one? How does it affect x? Think relations. Abstrahise the symbolism and apply to life.

To answer the title:
Is meaningless.
You can apply that notion to many things especially in way of chemical applications.... you apply 2 things with a negative charge... you don't result in anything positive, just something that is a blend of the negatives which is still negative (take acids and ph levels for instance)

If a calculator is wired incorrectly, it will always come out with wrong answers, because that calculator only knows what is put into it. Humans are the same. Natural selection may have purposely wired us miscorrectly, and we'd never know because we only know ourselves and the information being put into us. We cannot step outside our perception.
Which does not mean that there is no universal truth, but that we can never be assured of a universal truth, or for that matter anything but our perception. The best humans can get is a universal perception.

The more you let go of your conditioning and staindness, your calculator will re-wire itself to see and compute "truth"....

How can life be about survival when we don't need to fight to survive? So what, now our life has no meaning anymore?

Place a calculator with a fatal flaw in its basic processing, leave it for long enough and it will not repair itself. And that is even making the jump to assume there is something absolute and universal, which there is not. There is only perception.

I don't get what you're insinuating though. The reason a child like this wouldn't realize his own perception is because he is constantly busy fighting for survival and so cannot sit and meditate or learn science. It really doesn't change the fact that the child uses perception just like everyone else, and cannot see outside of his perception.
It is all about survival, and if our survival required perceptual errors, that is what we would develop. If nobody had ever experienced color, would they know that they're even missing anything? Color is just a perception, just like all our senses, and they are entirely subjective to our individual experience, so that we never know what we are missing or even if our senses are just an individual flaw.
