Outdoor cultivation problems..
    #4115468 - 04/30/05 07:03 PM (11 years, 5 months ago)

After an incident that happend a few days ago.. I had to move the patch, well when i dug it up the patch was gone since it had been drowned in 5 gallons of water and mudd has accumulated making a thick layer of nothing.. Well today after letting it dry i dug it up and much to my surprise buried in mud there was myc growing, on everything even wood chips!!! its cubensis myc... So i picked out the myc very carefully and placed it in a container.. Got a raised wooden box, i gusse you could call it... laid down a layer of perlite, and vermiculite. laid down a tiny layer of myc filled "stuff", then took and soaked some straw and cow poo, then emptied water mixed in the rest of the myc, then add a whole piece of cow poo and put wet straw on top.. Now my mycs above ground so it wont get mud to accumulate on it, after a few days buried it was still attempting to grow there was rhizomes through the dirt!!! but I couldn't acquire all of the myc due to the mudding, so i got a hand full of different pieces, and put into an above ground mixture.. Should this work or am i doomed? Should i of even tryed to save the myc, and dose my mixture sound correct?
