Ok, please, someone read and tell what the FUCK??!
After about a year of anticipation of wanting to do shrooms I finally went out today with 5 mates and went picking.
I live in Dublin, Ireland and we get liberty caps over here.In abundance.
So anyway, heres the setting, sunny but windy day (day after raining).
We start at about 1 o'clock and after not finding any in the first field we moved to another and started finding LOADS. I am about 99% sure I have the right ones here, in fact Im definate. Before I left the house I had a look at every pic I have of the things, checked all the desc.s etc..
We collected about 230-250 (very very rough estimate) of the little fellas. We put them in news paper as we collected them so they would dry into the paper. Anyway, one of my mates decided he wanted to eat a couple so he necked about 20 or so while we got a few joints together, had somthing to eat and chilled out for a while.
After around half an hour he claimed to be getting giddy and he was crackin up laughing. Exactly what I thought should have and I went back picking happy and confident in the thought 'lovely, they seem to be having effect, lets go!'.
So then I decided to neck a couple, and everyone else said they'd join me ; )
We started off eating about 10 (a bit stupid, I know, 10 wouldnt do much if anything but we did anyway) and then went back about our collecting. Then about 10 minutes later one of the others said he'd do another 10. Anyway, we collected our shit and headed back to the bus stop, by now about half an hour - 45 mins after eating em. Noone feeling anything, even the second mate who took the 20. The other one who was feeling giddy etc.. was just stoned from the hash now and nothing else really.
We got back on the bus and I said 'fuck it, I'll do another 15-20 or so', so I did about 20, another mate did about 20 (me and this friend were about equal in how many we took for the whole time), the one who had taken 20 in the first place took another 5 or so, content in the buzz he got allready and finally the friend who took the second 20 took about another 20 aswell.
So thats, Me = 30, 2nd mate = 25, 3rd mate = 40, 4th mate = 30

About an hour + half since initial ingestion (for me anyway), NOTHING. No one was feeling a fuckin thing. Very slight stoning feeling and a bit light headed, but so small its negligable.
Anyway, we got off the bus and jump on the train back to our home area (we had to get a train and bus to get to that spot). Now about 1 hour 45 mins after initial ingestion and about 30 mins since last ingestion of the 20.
So then, we got on the train and we thought we might aswell eat a couple more, so we ate about another 10-15 each. About 35 mins passed and finished the rest off.
Thats 250 or so mushies, unevely spread between 6 people.
Final tally... (VERY approximate)
Me = 65, 2nd Mate = 65, 3rd Mate = 35, 4th Mate = 55, 5th Mate = 30
Dunno, approximate, but a good guide.
Nothing
Noone felt a fuckin thing and its now about 11 hours after ingestion.
Nothing but a light stoning feeling for about 2-3 hours.
What the fuck did I do wrong??????
Please tell me cos I want to get some to trip for the weekend.
Any advice/comments welcome, please!!!!

are you absolutely positive they were all lib caps? or even mushies at all? was your first friend ACTUALLY tripping?
also, since they are fresh, you have to eat a lot more of them, next time weigh out the dose perfectly, and make sure that the shrooms were lib caps ... then if nothing happens, I dunno

Not true. Well, weight for weight obviously it's true, but as he's dosing by numbers rather than weight, 65 fresh shrooms will be a bit stronger than 65 dry ones.
Incidentally 65 fresh libs would knock me flying, so either your shrooms weren't libs, or at least _some_ of them weren't, or it was just a shit batch. Happens sometimes.
