Casing or cakes?...need em in a month

Heey fellow Shroomerites

My friend and I currently have 12 1/2 pint PF cakes that are just about fully colonized. We were planning on casing these things this Sunday, but my friend is leaving for a long vacation at the end of May. I've heard that casing can take longer than cakes to pin and fruit, and was wondering if we would be better off just fruiting cakes. I know the length of time to pin depends on the casing depth, but I'm not sure how deep of a casing we can make with 12 1/2 pint cakes.

So..cakes are casing? Needs to be done by end of May..

Casings should be done in a month. Three days in an incubator after casing, 7-9 days for pinning, 5-7 for shrooms to mature. At the most that adds up to 19 days. If some of your stages run a little longer, you should still be done in a month. Good Luck.
