spore transfer print to grain
    #4111618 - 04/29/05 03:16 PM (18 years, 11 months ago)

I'v always transfered spores to a karo and then to grain. I just thought about this. tell me if the idea is flawed.
For my prints i like to have a layer of foil on the bottom and a sheet of white paper to collect the spores. If the sheet was precut into smaller squares, the cap placed ontop you would end up with small sheets of spores to pick up with a sterilized tweezer and drop into your grain jar. then just shake the crap out of it to disperse the spores.
good idea or crap? thought it would be less hassle than preparing karo all the time. the idea is only good if you have access to lots of kaps for print making.

Not a good idea.  The spores need to be rehydrated prior to germination.  Thus a spore syring, or LC.  Cool idea about sectioning off the print, but I highly doubt it'd work... GL bro :stoned:

the moisture in the jars would rehydrate the spores but it would take a little longer.
