    #4111610 - 04/29/05 03:13 PM (18 years, 11 months ago)

The p. cubenis came up good but when picked they were hollow in the stem. R they still good to eat or do they need to be thrown out.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

It seems to depend on water content. If your substrate/casings/terrariums are too wet, your shrooms will be hollow. Hurts yields.
