black spots on my pedro

Recently, a friend made a 1cm cut in my San Pedro with his fingernail on accident and it started scarring over, but now it's spreading (twice the size of the original cut). Now, black spots are appearing all over the tip of my cactus, 4 in total. Anybody seen this before? I thought it might be pups growing for some reason, but now i think not. Please help, this is my BABY

If it's soft and squishy you will have to remove it.
Letto, no, unfortunately a new tip will not grow, nor will that section grow anymore. It should pup though

ittle black specks on my pedros but i dont see any reason to chop it off. but maybe yours is really drastic or something hard to tell without a pic .. but they are able to bounce back from mostly anything even slight mushyness

if the black spots arent real bad looking, id say its the natural thing for a cacti to do if it got hurt. maybe bacterias and such got in the open cut and are in the plant now. i wouldnt worry unless they get bigger and badder. 4 dont seem to troublesome.

The big scar isn't really soft to touch. Thanks for the replies, i might just cut out the little bad piece and not mind the black spots.

That black part is actually hard to touch, harder than the regular cactus skin.

If it's not soft then I'd leave it alone. Don't cut anything out unless you have to because that opens it up to more infection.

are the black spots raised, blister-like bumps?
