Liberty caps were and still are the most euphoric for me. Int he early 1990s I coined the term 'psilophoria' to describe the effects of these mushrooms on the phyusiology of the human body.
Of course, Dr. Jochen gartz claims that Inocybe aeruginascens is a potent shroom and that his discovery of an indole in that species, aeruginascine is the cause of such euphoria. However, i disagree and say that the eyuphoria is most common and a characteristic of the effects of psilocine/psilocybine.
AS the3 P. mexicana is the m ost tranquil and peaceful amongst Mazatec Indians of oaxaca, P. semilanceata is the same to thsoe int he world who also agree it is very tranquil and euphoric in action.
As far as different strains of Cubensis, I would say "set" and "setting" play more of a role in how you feel during the trip.
Also, do try a search, there is loads of info on this subject.
MJ and I are talking about talking about two different things. He's pointing out differences between different species of psilocybe. I'm talking about different strains of P. Cubensis, which I'm assuming afoaf is going to grow. As those are the most commonly grown.
