Are you old?
    #4110621 - 04/29/05 10:44 AM (18 years, 11 months ago)

Does anyone know who I am? I mean, really, look at the fucking date. I understand that I'm obscure and ill-represented, but someone must know. I seem to have lost myself in the cookie jar.

I kind of like the idea of being a speck in the ocean of sparkles, yet, someone has to know. Someone has to recall. I feel so left out. So isolated from the COMMUNITY. Of course, you are all angry kids asking for nothing and getting anger in return.

This post, if that's what it is, is brought to you by candles and snuff.

Lepidolite. Lithium.

Hey I like your random posts but, :finger:.

I'm sorry. I don't have much time to expand, but let me try. I have seen this place eb and flow, so very much, yet it always comes back to this end: You (not individually, or as a group) preach love and compassion, yet there is so much.... frustration. For drug laws, for government. From that stems shit that can only be described as.... evil, really.

You (again, not individually, or as a group) have the ability to perceive the world as so much more than other people can even begin to grasp. It is so much of a waste, though.

Really. I like it, really. But really, I can't stand it, really.

I see your point.

Yet, do you really feel, in your heart of hearts, that love can rule all, even within the confines of the human soul? I believe in the yin and the yang, in balance. Good can't exist without bad, light can't exist without dark.

Though I also believe the balance is moderated by a balance between quantity/quality. Evil proliferates, but weakens. Good remains small, but ever-powerful.

Ok. Here is a better point, I guess. I grew up, here, at the Shroomery. It taught me so many things, which I put together into an array of concepts I like to call the Hippie Prospective. It is a grand way of thinking, and it allowed me to live my life to it's fullest.

Now, I have grown away from that, which is a process I will always have to endure--being dynamic. It isn't a problem in itself, but when I come here, and read some of the things being proliferated, I wonder how I was ever pulled into the hole.

All around, though, I still have much respect for this site and the users. We just conflict, now, when we used to be one.

Don't worry. I haven't forgotten that you need moderation. I just hope you can live with yourself.

Don't you think that the conflicting nature of the community might simply be a reflection of the world at large and its current fractured state?

A fragmented preception, possibly due to your growning away. The illusion of conflict is our way of celebrateing our diversity, It's all a big game. There is no way we could ever cease to be one. In the same way, there is no way constant change in the ways of our interaction could ever cease.
