whats the deal with acid availability

I have been lurking at shroomery for a few months now, just never have bothered to register. In fact I'm growing some nice Mexi-cub P.C.s right now. Whats bothering me is why the hell is acid so dry these days. It seems like LSD, of all drugs, has been the prime chemical of censorship by the DEA and goverment. Do you have to live on the coast or big cities in order to obtain it? Any input on availability or its censorship would be great.
Thanks Great forums, btw, they've helped me so much.

Two factors, you need a kid who loves good music, and you need a good band to go through your area.
-------------------- Calico Kahlia come tell me the news
Calamity's waiting for a way to get to her
Rosy red and electric blue
I bought you a paddle for your paper canoe
Say you'll come back when you can
Whenever your airplane happens to land
Maybe I'll be back here too
It all depends on what's with you

This post would have been relevant about 6 months ago, but the past few months LSD has been running rampant all over Canada and the US. It's everywhere.

How're you going to say it's everywhere? Have you been everywhere? I know for a fact that acid is not available everywhere.

My friend said he could get me a sheet of some plain white blotter for like 30 bucks. But he didnt sound like he knew what he was talking about, and that deal sounded outrageous.

Ok, I'm sure there are some remote places and/or mormon towns which may in fact have an LSD shortage.
Excuse my inaccuracy. I err.

Innaccuracy excused, Miss "My 2005 Acid Census Shows That it's Everywhere".
Somehow, in my search for acid, I forgot to look everywhere besides remote towns and/or mormon communities. Next time, I'll be sure to look everywhere else.

meh, None around here....but fuck it. I know where I can get some but it's just not worth the trouble. So technically yes I can get it, but it's not worth the hastle for I can only find it at one source. Yup.

Acid available overall in north america has gone down drastically. 5 years ago or so, a lab in kansas in a former missle silo was busted with about 100 POUNDS of lsd (thats a few billion hits) along with enough precursor's to generate 100's of lb's more.
It was estimated by the DEA that this provided 95% of north america's LSD supply. This is why availability ahs gone down. There still are smaller labs out there that are local, but if acid *IS* rampant in your city... you're one of the lucky ones
check out wikipedia.org and look up "LSD"... the big bust was described in there

Somebody is definately doing a shit job of distribution as it seems to be getting distributed in certain areas only.
This will be a problem in the future also. Over the last couple years since the Dead re-united some links in the chain have been pieced back together. Old friends were reconnected with old and new outlets. Things are flowing, but not how they used to be. Sadly, the days of the late 80's when people fought to sell you sheets for 60$ are gone. Back then we had a lysergic sprinkler system dosing the USA. 4 tours a year covering the country and more importantly people working in between tours sending goodies to all there friends back home.
LSD will always be here. That's been set up and guaranteed by the brothers who brought it to us originally. As I explained in great detail in the other thread after Pickards bust and 9/11 it was decided that things should completely shut down for awhile. This wasn't to deprive all the people who wanted LSD it was to make sure that the top of the chain was protected. Now things are slowly moving again, but as I said before distribution is and will continue to be a problem. People are working on the problem. They do care. As most can tell the doses are better in quality then some of the weak ones that came out when LSD came back around 2 summers ago. That was something that the family was able to fix by tightening up on who got access to crystal.
As for a new chemist. The LSD that's around now is the same recipe and flavor as the LSD that's been blasting young minds for decades. I don't know if there is a new kid in town as far as some chemist is concerned, but for the most part it's the same acid of days gone by.
Disclaimer- As I always say and is the truth I only talk about these things because I am far removed from this scene. I still occasionally hear things from old friends, but for the most part I'm in a different world pursuing a different life.

5 years isnt that much time. It's probably not as devastated as it was a few years ago.... but it's definately not as available as it was in the mid/late 90's
