Well I gotta say I like it. Generally it tells it like I see it. But there is more to the story than just some freaks telling what true spirituality is, me thinks. But give me pure science and an open mind and that's spiritual enough for me.

Why did you put it here on purpose?

Sample lyric line;
"I made more sense then you the last time I farted"

This guy is giving science a bad name. He is also demsonstrating how science taught him nothing about whats really important for getting through the day. I mean, check out what sort of attitude the arrogance of science created in this man and how is it any better then what religions teach?

I'm a disciple of science

morons and fools because,
their educations deficient,

They need to read a book that ain't so damn old old,
Trash Talk
Uh yeah, that's right!
Fundamentalist assholes!
Screw the hole lot of them.

I aint got time to interact,
with crystal wearing freaks in need of a smack.
New age motherfuckers? Don't get me started,
I made more sense than them, last time I farted.

Not to put too fine a point upon it,
but the whole new age movement is full of shit.
Please allow me to elaborate,
explicate, expatiate.
from astral projection to zygomancy its a,
mish mash of idiocy.
Instead of the archaic worship of seasons,
they should explore logic and reason.

Trash Talk
Fucking new-agers!
Is there any amount of bullshit they won't swallow?
It's two-thousand-aught-three goddammit!
When are these morons gonna join us in the 21st century?

Science has a good enough track record to be arrogant towards such nonsensical beliefs. Not that it necessarily should be.

Arrogance never serves especially in science as it creates dogma and thats the last place we want to see dogma come up.

Scientific arrogance has been the cause of many scientists creating forgeries to save face or dismising new discoveries to save face.

I was suprised to see a supportor of science like daba support that song. It was mean spirited. What is so logical about name calling?

One of the greatest appeals of science it that is typically keeps it's nose clean from such emotionalism. That dude sort of "lost it"

How bout, science has a good of enough track record for this one dudes anger outburst not to taint it.

Trading one dogma for another

"reason", based on what?
all we can do right now in this time in history is sit and listen, collect data, and nothing more.

In every second of scientific development in history people seemed to explain everything with the limited amound of knoledge they had, nothing chanes now.
The moment genetics were discovered, it seemed to many like entire human lives can be explained with it, when quantum physics was accepted suddenly the whole universe could be explained with it (this trent lives today too)

Collecting data, and living our lives as we know it without drawing conclusions (unless necessary for continuation of collecting of data)

I can't stand the arogance of trying to explain the entire universe in simple words while at the same time our lifespan is 70 years.
If we are so smart how come we live and die no differently from dogs.
Quality of our own lives show how much we are ready to know the universe. A society where "fuck you" is more often than "thank you",
has no chance of knowing, only guessing

We could rely on our reason in 1000 years or more, when we have enough data to actually make a puzzle picture out of the pieces we have.

Right now we have a bunch of holes in that picture, and blind reason at this point is no different than blind faith

one dogma for another

I command your very souls you unbelievers

:yesnod: What is science going to do about that indeed? We can send cameras to Mars and can't keep people from killing each other.

I never said I supported the song. I was interested in the replies it would get from this forum.

I'm choosing to be aloof in this matter; so please do not take it personally if I don't reply to any questions you ask me.

Thanks for clearing up your position here. I have another comment to make you might be interested in considering.

This guy said that "crystal wearing freaks are in need of a smack"

Science is working on crystal chip computer technology because of its awesome storage abilities. But if a new age freak uses it for the same purpose outside of a computer they need to be smacked? Does it bother him that ancients who used crystal skulls to store info up to new agers got ahead of science tech and discovery or does he just not know that science is getting in on crystal power now too?

If people who use crystals are freaks in need of a smack then by his ignorant words, scientist working on this technology are also freaks in need of a smack.

(I'm not a crystal person myself, but remembered reading on these chips and made the connection to his comment. It's funny)
