Why do pot heads say stuff like, "I smoke because I become more social" "I have a better time in public when i'm high" "helps with axiety."
when they all know it's bullshit. I pulled the same stuff when I was smoking. "yea mom, I smoke because it makes me feel good and normal. I can talk to people more. and not worry about being in crowded places" Until I realized, I became very depressed, never talked when I was high, and avoided crowded places at all costs.

okay okay, yea I know, right..it helps you. and I know I shouldn't talk like it doesn't help some people, because it may. But I just don't see how people with those kind of problems are more social when high.
It took me a long time to figure out it didn't help me. Most people don't realize that it changes them and their knew thoughts are I NEED TO GET HIGH! It's a crappy excuse to use. and a lot of people smoke because they think there cool, even if they don't realize it.

I'm not preaching in any way at all by the way. My knowledge is very limited also. Sooo :shrug:

ya its different for everyone and depends alot on the set&setting so its not really bullshit. sometimes smoking up used to make me hella social but then again sometimes i would withdraw to my own thoughts and become all quiet..

it doesn't make me more social, and i've never claimed that it does. i do firmly believe that it can help with anxiety, as well as many other medical uses. i personally smoke because i like it :dancing:

I've never met anyone that improved in any way from pot. I've never met anyone that becomes more social. I've never met anyone that knew how to curb their smoking except for myself. I've never seen anyone gain anything from pot =( Pot is weak sauce in so many ways. I'm glad a lot of my friends are easing up.

It's gonna suck when my parents find out. They're just going to blame so much shit on pot, and they are probably going to be right. Lame.

When I first started smoking it really did make me more social, but now it makes me anti social.

I always thought it was interesting that with some people it causes anxiety and with others it suppresses it. The people I know that say it calms them are so heavily depenedent on it though its the only way they can stay calm......

Me it does make me more social alittle and personally it is just fun. I don't doit as much as I used to but ocasionally or when friends are over pot is just the thing to lighten up the move.
