Should I start over?
    #4107715 - 04/28/05 06:24 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

April 10 (almost 3 weeks ago) I started a cultivation using the PF Tek. I did 6 jars GT and 6 jars B+. My TIT actually overheated to about 120 for 12 or more hours (I posted about it on this forum). I replaced the broken fish tank heater and waited it out.

One B+ jar is coming along GREAT, about 80% colonized. Another B+ jar is about 40%. Three more show small signs of myc growth but seem to have stalled.

None of my GT jars look like they've begun myc growth.

Should I toss my GTs and my stalled B+'s? I can at least do one cake with two B+ jars. If I DO start over, I'm gonna do it right, with horse poo.

Or should I wait it out some more?

do you have alum foil or tape over the inoculation holes?

if you do pull it off...they will start back up again.

try flipping the jars too.

Thanks for the advice, I'll take the tape off and flip.
