Lucky Dog
    #4106909 - 04/28/05 12:25 PM (18 years, 10 months ago)

So I'm working on my dads Quad yesterday and I hear some tires screech and a yelp...I run out front to check it out, and sure as hell my dog got hit. As soon as the dude in the car seen me, he hit the gas and took off...

From what one witness told me, my dog actually ended up on the hood of the car and fell off...yet is completely unharmed as I can tell...no limp, no whining, not even a scratch.

Is there a chance he could suffer internal injuries and not react to them? He's only a year old.

Definitely bring him to a vet to be checked out carefully.

Hopefully he's just as you say-Lucky Dog.
He's only a year old so his bones should be in relatively good shape.

I had a Korean roommate, and we'd walk by the Dog Run in washington square park he'd always say 'man, this makes me hungry.'

If this happened yesterday and your pup is still alive/not showing any signs of injury today he should be alright.

I've had dogs that were hit by cars before and it seriously fucked 'em up and it was easy to see that they were hurt.

I'm Hoping that because he's so young that he just sort of went limp and 'rolled' with it.
