It's what I want to do.
I already know a good deal.. studied it and practiced it plenty.. but I want to become certified.
Anyone know of any good schools?
Can you get a grant for this sort of thing?

I had a buddy who went to a school here in Idaho for that, he got some sort of scholarship... man I love it when that kid comes home. hehe

My friend Denise just graduated from the Swedish Institute.  She's offering free massages at her friends' houses for practice. can't wait.

Im telling you its the real deal.

When i had one couple of month ago, i felt something interesting behind my heart on my back. When that area was touched it was like touching an open scar that never healed. Theres just so much tension there, calls for more work to be done.

Too bad it costs ??? and too bad i dont have a friend willing to practise for free

Being a massage therapist sounds good on paper until you have to massage some sweaty gay fat dude with a hairy back that is sweet on you.

yeah but doctors go to college for like 12 years
and the ladies don't go mmmmm... ohhhhh.. when they touch them
plus they probably have to see and touch all kinds of diseased stuff
and pimpin just isn't my bag

but seriously I can only think of a few things I like more than a really good massage
so I'd assume that some other people feel that way too

doctor - "does it hurt when I touch you here?"
masseuse - "does it feel good when I touch you here?"
pimp - "bitch.. touch me here"

That's a really awesome goal.  I've thought about getting myself trained in massage therapy myself.  I do know that they make some very nice money.

yeah.. and you don't have to go to school for a billion years like a doctor and deal with sick/dying/diseased people all day. and you don't have to go through the school of hard knocks on the street and get shot like a pimp. Maybe you wont make as much as a doctor or a pimp, but everyone loves a fucking massage. People don't like pimps and needles.

exactly. and vica versa. I dream about a good massage on a regular basis.
women or no.. just relieve my ultra tense back muscles.
And in school we'd have to practice on each other. free massages.
you can also trade massages for drugs
the barter system rocks

It is imperative that the woman I marry has to know how to give a good back massage. I'm good at it from what I'm told, so I figure I should get the favor returned. :smirk:

Massage therapy is usually very short. I think the schools in the states are about two years.

Not so sure about the money. It's probably decent but I'd be curious about the type of advancement you'd get. It's probably like a lot of other things where the good money would be in opening and running your own establishment.
