1/2 pint jars-how moist is too moist

hello all...have dozen 1/2 jars of pans colonizing .....the first couple of jars filled with thistle seed was from the top of the pan-which was obviously the most dry of the batch...now as i started to fill more jars up with this seed, it became more moist as i got to the bottom of the sauce pan i had cooked it in.

two jars look good..they are fluffy white...all the rest are white...but not fluffy..there are small water droplets in the jars at the bottom..but not enough to pour out. it doesnt look very pretty...

even though it looks a little too moist, can i count on this white gooey mycelium to be just as good as the fluffy-after a couple of weeks..then when it is added to the manure, it will dry out and thrive in its new environment?

As long as you see and smell no signs of contaminiants, you should be fine. The mycelia cake may tend to also turn a little yellow from the water, so be on the look out for that as well.:)bluhoney
