pressure cooker items

can you pressure cook misc. items you using while casing. for instance the fork that you use while patching? will it harm the fork or pressure cooker? i dont think it will but trying to be safe here, as when i was little i liked to put no-no's in the microwave and always got in trouble

Metal utensils are safe for sterilization in the pressure cooker. Wrap in alum foil, pc for 15 minutes, and your tools will be sterile until opened.

aaah, nooo, the fork might desperately scratch a hole in the side of the pc to escape. its well known that forks hate steam. thats why your not allowed to bring them into the sauna.

I find it a LOT quicker and easier to wipe whatever your using down with alcohol or just wash it good with antibac stuff, dettol whatever. I dont bother myself, just use clean stuff from the washing up pile.. PCing random implements is taking it all a bit far imo.
