Day 8 and no signs of pinning

Hey there,
It's day 8 and I can see no signs of pinning...I'm trying to be patient, but this is my first try and everything seems to have gone by the book until now. I'm giving 3-4 hours a day of flourescent light a day (best I can do) and 87% to 90% humidity (with my cheap ass meter...who knows if its right but the chamber seems pretty moist..good condensation on the sides of the chamber and the temp a pretty constant 70-74 degrees) and to my eye I'm not any closer than when I birthed them. I dunked, cold shocked and rolled in verm but the bastards are starting to make me sweat !

Can someone offer some good advice ?

it's just a fact of life when using cakes.
they are going to take a little time.
in the meantime, i would reccomend trying to raise the humidity
a little.

before it pins, you will see little white knobs (primordia)

give them some more time man, absolutely don't get impatient. good things come to those that wait. what is the blue writing on the sides of a couple of those cakes?

how will the writing on the cakes affect them? never seen anyone do that before.

It was put into the picture with photoshop or some similar application.
