grrr....watered down substrate after sterlization

everytime i pressure cook my jars half of them end up looking like this...



anyone have any tips on how to prevent this???
i'm using foil tape to cover up the holes.

wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye

well i had a little bit of moisture seep through while in the pc but not that much. i just opened the lids a little bit and those cakes have alreadyy been birthed and are doing fine. i hope i helped

yeah, some of mine get wet too after I pc.....i still innoculate though, and don't have many problems! Rarely do they NOT work.

hey dude,
your putting too much water in the pressure cooker, about
.5 - .75 inches of water is all ya need.

I agree, waaaay too much water in the PC. There's no reason to use more than
half an inch of water in a PC, in fact I don't use much more than a quarter inch.
