Should be an amazing weekend. Anybody coming?
Who ya gonna see? I'm hoping to catch NIN, Junkie XL, Josh Wink, MF Doom, K-os, Sage Francis, Black Star, DJ Krush...those are the ones off of the top of my head anyway. This festival was expensive and I originally wasn't coming because of it but I figured, what the hell?
Anybody here onsite camping at the festival? I would totally like to hook up with some cool people at the campsite and get a party going, and share a spliff or maybe some homemade chocolate ...

Its not too late to get tickets (i think) they are also giving them away on KROQ and indie 103 all week but that means you'll have to listen to the radio for hours and hours...not sure if that kinda torture is worth even coachella tickets.
Its gonna be great. The only downside to these massive festivals is I never get to see all the bands I want to. The true measure of a festival is the quality of the bands your forced to miss due to not being able to be everywhere at one time (not originally my saying but its mine now!)

Damn, I figured at least one or two people around here would be going.

I'm going!
Coldplay, NIN, Bauhaus, New Order, Weezer, Arcade Fire, British Sea Power, MF Doom, Mercury Rev, The Faint, I can't FUCKING WAIT!
I leave Friday night, fly JFK to Ontario, and get there just in time to grab In and Out before heading to my hotel.

Who the fuck cares about irrigated golf courses when you're there for just three days to see 60 bands for 2 days, noon to midnight? Hotel/Campsite-->Concert-->Hotel/Campsite. Then on the way to the airport to fly back home, you can drive through Joshua Tree National PArk, which is what I did last year and what I'll do again this year.
